ASSISTANCE:

The Special Forces Charitable Trust (SFCT) is collaborating with the SFA to provide assistance to those needing it. The SFCT donated $30,000 to the SFA for families in need. Since 28 OCT, we have raised another $30,000. The Special Operations Association Foundation just sent a check to SFCT for $10,000.

We know that some of you will likely want to help but cannot physically. If you would like to contribute to the relief efforts you can donate financially through the following Link. The SFCT is a 501(c)3, you can verify their status on the website at: https://www.specialforcescharitabletrust.org/

 DONATE

  1. The SFCT has a great system for collecting volunteers and for receiving requests for help/support in a way that protects their information from others who have signed up from seeing it….this is per 501c3. We will be protecting those at all costs.
  2. The SFCT will share this with us every couple hours by downloading the registration lists and sending them to us in an excel file.
  3. The SFCT will bring the volunteers we have had sign up on our google form link over to their system so their information is protected and all in one spot.

We need volunteers to sign up to assist and we need displaced or needy families to contact us. Volunteers provide a contact number and what you can provide (labor, empty Jerry cans, funds, food, rescue equipment, etc.

  • Orange: need water, food, supplies
  • Purple: need heavy equipment; chainsaws
  • Blue: need check-in
  • Green: safe
  • Black: needs NCGS visit

Note:

  • Red pins may be less accurate due to lots of attention and difficult follow-through
  • 10/3 - recent reports indicate areas around Pensacola and Candler remain high need with neighborhoods cut off
  • Look for gaps in data - a lack of pins may indicate no contact; cross-refenrence w/ topo map to look for waterways
