Help Send Green Beret Veterans on the Vietnam Honor Flight — March 2027. We are raising funds to send Green Beret veterans on a 10-day Vietnam Honor Flight in March 2027—a mission of remembrance, reconciliation, and service. This evolving Vietnam Honor Flight mission is inspired in part by Anh’s ongoing POW/MIA recovery work, which was shared at SFACON in Fort Walton Beach last June. For many Vietnam veterans in attendance, the presentation brought back powerful memories and experiences that had remained unspoken for more than 50 years. For some of our participants, this journey is deeply personal. It is an opportunity to return to places connected to their wartime service, honor fallen comrades, and seek answers that may bring a measure of peace to veterans and to families still grieving on all sides of the conflict. One veteran’s story center on the Battle of Ton Le Chon and the hope of locating a possible mass-grave site. The mission will support respectful efforts to identify and document burial locations, while recognizing the cultural importance of honoring ancestors in Vietnam. The team also plans to support POW/MIA recovery efforts and assist Vietnam’s broader initiative to locate soldiers believed to be buried in unmarked graves. Through a “train-the-trainer” approach, technical experts from Texas Tech and the University of Georgia will help train Vietnamese partners in the use of ground-penetrating radar and related search methods. Your donation will help cover travel, lodging, local transportation, mission logistics, technical training, and the participation of deserving Green Beret veterans. By supporting this pilot mission, you are helping build trust, strengthen reconciliation, honor those still unaccounted for, and create a model for future self-sustaining missions.

The Special Forces Scholarship Fund supports the educational goals of deserving students as they pursue their future after high school. Through this program, scholarships are awarded to individuals attending colleges, universities, and trade schools, as well as to current undergraduate and post-graduate students continuing their studies. Applications are carefully reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and evaluated on several key factors, including an SFA sponsor letter, a letter of acceptance, GPA transcript, a statement outlining the applicant’s aspirations and intended use of the scholarship, and responses to essay questions. Your support helps empower the next generation through education, honoring the values of dedication, service, and excellence that define the Special Forces community.

The Special Forces Association’s magazine, The Drop keeps the legacy, history, and brotherhood of the Special Forces community alive. Through powerful stories, historical preservation, and updates from the Regiment, The Drop connects past and present Green Berets while honoring those who served and sacrificed. Your donation helps ensure this publication continues to document Special Forces history, share the experiences of veterans, and strengthen the bonds of our community for future generations. Every contribution—large or small—directly supports the production and distribution of The Drop, helping keep the voices and traditions of the Special Forces family alive. Donations to this fund directly support the improvement, maintenance, and long-term care of the Special Forces Association National Headquarters. These contributions help ensure that the headquarters remains a welcoming and functional home for our members—a place where the legacy, history, and fellowship of the Special Forces community are preserved and shared. Your support helps maintain the facilities, enhance the grounds, and fund necessary upgrades that allow the Association to continue serving its members with pride and professionalism. Every gift plays a part in sustaining this important center of the Special Forces family.

The Patriot Fund is funding for the Special Warfare Center and School, it covers awards to instructors and students, special plaques, lunch for new SF Qualification Course graduates, and other costs not provided for by the Army in the Special Warfare Center's budget, The Patriot Fund covers things not allowed by law to spend Army money on, such as Catered food, entertainment, alcohol, and other things not in SWCS's budget. In addition to SFQC graduates, The Patriot Fund also helps cover costs for events that recognize promotions, changes of command, holiday events for units under SF Command, and other events that aren't covered under the Army's or SF Command's budget.

As natural disasters such as the recent hurricanes and wildfires have impacted our Members, the Special Forces Association has taken a role in emergency relief efforts. The Special Forces Association Emergency Relief Fund is designed to provide monetary support to eligible members in good standing in times of natural disasters. Natural disasters are defined as a disaster caused by natural forces rather than by human actions (e.g. earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, etc.). Applicants must be current and in good standing in the SFA or the dependent spouse, child or grandchild of a member in good standing. Family members of a deceased member in good standing may also apply. Grants to any member will not exceed $2,500.00 and are subject to approval by the National Board of Officers. Initial grants, not to exceed $500.00, may be granted by the Executive Director with verbal approval from the SFA President. Grants in excess of $500 must be approved by the majority of the National Board of Officers. These funds are not for reimbursement of deductibles for insurance purposes, upgrades not covered by insurance or use for basic necessities unless related to a natural disaster. The SFA Emergency Relief Fund is a separate account that derives its monies from the contributions of SFA members, SFA chapters and charitable individuals, parties and corporations.Your donation helps fund these efforts by providing needed resources which help the SFA deliver aid to hard hit Members.

Chapter 75 Roger H.C. Donlon ScholarshipThe goal of the Chapter 75 SFA Roger H.C. Donlon Scholarship Fund is to provide educational opportunities and financial assistance to deserving individuals who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to personal growth, community service, and the pursuit of excellence. We hope to empower and support members of Chapter 75 and their families in achieving their educational and career aspirations through this program. The aim is to foster academic achievement, leadership development, and a sense of responsibility to serve others, thereby strengthening the fabric of our community and promoting the values of Special Forces, particularly those of our namesake, Col Roger Donlon.

Special Forces Association Chapter 75 is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Green Berets, honoring the service of those who have served, and supporting the continuing needs of SF soldiers and their families. Contributions help fund veteran assistance & outreach, memorial ceremonies, scholarships & youth programs, community engagement initiatives, and direct support for wounded, ill, or transitioning Special Forces soldiers. Eight Soldiers from across the Special Operations Community (all Green Berets) have lost their lives from 1969 to present trying to achieve the renowned Special Forces Dive Badge.No memorial currently exists to honor their memory.With your help, we can change that.

COL (R) John "Jack" Tobin served in the 5th, 7th and 11th Special Forces Groups in a career that spanned more than 40 years from Vietnam to Afghanistan.Jack was a mentor, friend and leader of many past and present SF Soldiers and was recognized as a Distinguished Member of the Regiment. Jack was a past President of SFA and Chapter 6. Jack's friends and family wish to keep his legacy alive through the COL Jack Tobin Scholarship Fund.The fund is administered by trustees including members of Jack's family and SFA members.
