SFA Chapter 79 (Hawaiian shirt) Banquet will be at the Pearl River Resort, Golden Moon Casino on Saturday 22 Nov 25 from 1700-2100 (5:00-9:00pm).
1. Our guest speaker(s) will be John Moore, author and son of OSS Detachment 101 member and Emily Lufkin, author and daughter of OSS Detachment 101 BN Commander. Detachment 101 which operated in China, Burma and India during WWII was the first American unit assembled to conduct guerrilla warfare, espionage and sabotage behind enemy lines.
